Find quick answers about NightEasePro  costs, insurance coverage, customization, and how to get your mandibular advancement splint — so you can start your journey to better sleep with confidence.

The NightEasePro appliance was developed based on patients’ less than satisfactory experiences with CPAP devices and plastic snoring mouthpieces. Using our knowledge of what’s possible in dental technology and some ingenuity, we developed the optimal solution.

These are the advantages that NightEasePro offers you:

  • perfect fit
  • high wearing comfort
  • quick dressing and undressing
  • very few limitations when speaking
  • Drinking is possible
  • easy cleaning
  • Made of steel, therefore no odor formation
  • The advancement (ratio of lower and upper jaw) is individually adjustable – even by you!
  • This allows for a slow adjustment from the starting position to the desired final position.
  • The sliding surfaces allow for slight jaw movement; your jaw is not rigidly fixed.
  • Changeable in case of loss of own teeth
  • Adaptation to dentures
  • almost unlimited lifespan
  • Reimbursement by health insurance companies

Further advantages that distinguish the manufacturing and quality of NightEasePro:

  • The production is carried out by a specialized dental laboratory.
  • The overall coordination with the sleep lab, dentist and dental laboratory is handled by a central office – we oversee the rapid production of your splint.
  • The NightEasePro splint has been successfully used in practice since 2018.
  • People aged 24 to 80 use the NightEasePro splint.
Doctors often favor this type of technical breathing aid, also known as CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure), as a solution. While these devices are touted in videos and on manufacturer websites as a practical, essential, and ultimate solution, reading the study results and user experiences paints a less rosy picture. Common side effects of CPAP include dry mouth or nose, irritation, and pain.(1) A significant number of sleep apnea patients do not accept this form of therapy long-term. They stop using the CPAP device within the first month or year. Sleeping with a mask on the face is quite unusual and requires a major adjustment. Those who do not seek an alternative are putting their health at considerable risk.(2)(3)(4) -> You can find much more information about CPAP on our FAQ page.
A plastic snoring mouthpiece is more practical than a CPAP machine because it looks like a large set of braces. It requires no device, tubing, or mask. However, plastic snoring mouthpieces also have some disadvantages: They are not suitable if you have a severe overbite, a removable implant, or dentures. Several missing teeth in the upper or lower jaw can limit or even preclude their use. Initially, these mouthpieces often cause jaw pain because the lower jaw is forced into an unfamiliar position. Inexpensive models offer limited adjustability. Higher-quality ones fit more precisely because they are made using a dental impression. Experts are not enthusiastic about thermoplastic mouthpieces, which can be made at home using the “boil and bite” method. Their lifespan is limited (sometimes only a few weeks), the material is susceptible to damage, constant maintenance is required, and the plastic absorbs odors and soon loses its neutral smell. (5) -> We discuss snoring mouthpieces in more detail on the FAQ page. You can find even more advantages and disadvantages as well as studies under the keyword snoring mouthpiece (protrusion mouthpiece).
